The moving cone is an important part of the cone crusher. It is matched with the combination bolts, spherical bearings, and the upper and lower bushings. There are two cones inside the cone crusher, one is the moving cone fixed on the main shaft, and the other is called the fixed cone, which is part of the frame and is stationary. The fixed cone is the backbone of the machine. The following is an introduction to the moving cone of the cone crusher.
1. Composition of the moving cone. The moving cone is mainly composed of the moving cone, the main sleeve, the moving cone liner and the distribution plate. The moving cone is pressed on the main shaft. The moving cone liner is a manganese steel casting, and the pressing sleeve and the cone head are pressed on the moving cone. Zinc alloy is also poured between the moving cone and the liner to make it fit tightly. When the eccentric sleeve rotates, it drives the moving cone to perform eccentric rotation. In order to ensure the eccentric rotation of the moving cone, the lower part of the moving cone is processed into a spherical surface and supported on a bowl-shaped bearing. The bearing frame is fixed to the frame sleeve with a square pin. All the forces on the moving cone are borne by the frame.
2. Moving cone speed. The speed of the moving cone is the speed of the eccentric bushing. It is different from the gyratory crusher because this type of crusher is used for medium and fine crushing of materials. In order to ensure the uniformity of the product particle size, the size of the discharged material blocks is smaller than the width of the discharge port. During operation, each piece of material should be crushed at least once on the parallel belt, that is, the time for the material to pass through the parallel belt should not be less than the time required for the moving cone to deflect once.
3. The role of the moving cone. The moving cone is the main crushing component of the cone crusher. The material is put in between the crushing cone and the fixed cone. At this time, the moving cone performs eccentric rotation along the inner surface of the fixed cone. The material close to the fixed cone is crushed by the squeezing, impact, bending and crushing of the moving cone, thereby achieving the required particle shape.
4. Precautions for the moving cone. Due to the loss of pressure in the hydraulic station of the cone crusher, the locking is easy to fail, causing the adjustment sleeve to rotate with the moving cone, resulting in the moving cone adjustment sleeve being stuck. When this happens, the machine should be stopped immediately. At the same time, if the moving cone is found to be rotating at a high speed, the machine should also be stopped for inspection, otherwise an accident will occur. Regular inspection, maintenance and upkeep can reduce the failure of the moving cone of the cone crusher and extend its life.
