Rotary kiln shell----It is the main body of the rotary kiln. The thickness of the kiln shell steel plate is about 40mm. Near the tire ring, because the load-bearing is relatively large, the kiln shell steel plate here should be thicker. The inside of the kiln shell is built with a layer of refractory bricks of about 200mm. When the kiln shell is in operation, due to the high temperature and load-bearing relationship, the kiln shell will have an elliptical deformation, which will put pressure on the kiln bricks and affect the life of the kiln bricks. There is a cone-shaped area about one meter long at the tail of the kiln, so that the material from the preheater feeding chamber can enter the kiln more smoothly.
The rotary kiln is mainly used for calcining cement clinker, and is divided into two categories: dry process cement kiln and wet process cement kiln. The cylinder of the rotary kiln is made of rolled steel plate, and the cylinder is inlaid with refractory lining, and has a specified slope with the horizontal line. It is supported by three wheel belts on each support device. A large gear ring is fixed on the span inner cylinder near the wheel belt at the feeding end with a tangential spring plate, and a small gear is meshed with it below. During normal operation, the main drive motor transmits power to the open gear device through the main reducer to drive the rotary kiln.
